1. Introduction:

• These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Askland Brothers LLC ("we," "our," or "us") to our clients ("you"). By hiring us, you agree to the terms set forth below.

2. Services:

• We provide construction and contracting services including but not limited to remodeling, repairs, and new builds. Specific services, timelines, and costs will be outlined in a written estimate or project agreement.

3. Payment Terms:

• Payments are due according to the schedule outlined in your project estimate.

• Late payments may result in project delays, liens on project properties, or additional fees.

• We accept cash and check at this time.

4. Changes and Additions:

• Any changes to the scope of work must be requested in writing. Additional charges may apply for added work or materials, and will be outlined via a "Change Order" 

5. Permits and Regulations:

• We will obtain necessary permits unless otherwise agreed.

• You agree to cooperate with any requirements or inspections by city or state authorities.

6. Worksite Access and Safety:

• You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the worksite.

• We follow all safety protocols to protect our team and your property.  Any necessary safety concerns will be addressed prior to work beginning on the project(s). 

  • Examples of this would include lead testing, mitigation, fire and or water hazards.  

7. Liability:

• We are licensed and insured in the state of Iowa for our work. However, we are not liable for delays or damages beyond our control, including weather, supply issues, or unforeseen conditions/circumstances.

• Copies of these documents will be given at client request at any time during the project.

9. Termination:

• Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. Fees for completed work and materials will still apply.
